Description:
This position is for a Rapid Response Nurse.
The role requires working 48 hours over a 6-week duration.
Candidates must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
No special scheduling or requests for time off will be accommodated after acceptance.
The unit comprises 24 beds and a staff team that includes 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 1-2 techs during night shifts.
Patient ratios are 5:1.
Typical types of equipment used are med/surg related.
The most recruited skill set includes travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters.
Preferred experience includes GYN/Oncology and Urology.
Typical procedures performed in the unit include post-operative assessments and care.
Pain management techniques include PCA and epidural methods.
Foley catheter maintenance is also part of the responsibilities.
Candidates must possess a team-oriented, compassionate demeanor.
Flexibility and the ability to cope well in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities.
