RN MedSurg Surgical Specialties Nights

Position: Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Acute Care / Med‑Surg) – UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital

• Full Time, 0.9 FTE (72.00 hours per 2‑week pay period)
• Shift: Nights
• Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour (dependent on experience)
• Night Shift Incentive Program: $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/yr) for full‑time night shift RNs
• On‑site only; no hybrid or remote option

• Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice.
• Model proficiency through precepting new staff and/or UCHealth personnel.
• Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
• Deliver direct care within acute care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity.
• Apply AMSN core curriculum and specialty certification standards within evidence‑based care models.

• Graduate of an accredited or state board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (if less than 3 years of experience).
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life‑support certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months of RN nursing experience.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date; BLS/CPR card valid for 60 days of hire.
