About the RoleThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator serves as a key clinical resource and leadership partner, helping oversee patient care activities while supporting nursing staff and operational workflows. This role combines direct patient care responsibilities with coordination, team development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily patient care activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharge processes
- Monitor patient outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance support to promote professional development
- Assist with staffing coordination and workflow management
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Promote patient safety initiatives and evidence-based nursing practices
- Participate in quality improvement programs designed to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support effective communication among care teams
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous acute care nursing experience required
- Leadership, charge nurse, or care coordination experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
