Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Englewood, CO
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7A - 7P
Job Description:
Join our busy medical floor specializing in caring for surgical flap patients, including individuals with spinal cord injuries and stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention. The unit also partners with a burn unit to provide care to low acuity burn patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for Med/Surg patients.
- Perform wound care and manage bowel programs as needed.
- Monitor telemetry and maintain patient safety throughout their stay.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience is required.
- BLS certification is a must; ACLS certification is preferred.
- Experience working with spinal cord injury patients is a plus.
