About the Role
Hello, RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support students in Englewood, CO near Greenwood Village! In this role, you'll provide high-quality health services, oversee day-to-day care in the school health room or support a student in a 1:1 setting, and help promote a safe, healthy learning environment. What You'll Do
- Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance
- Communicate with families regarding student health needs and updates
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and special education teams
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate
- Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols
- Monitor immunization compliance and support health screenings
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Active Colorado State RN license
- Colorado Department of Education School Nurse authorization or ability to obtain
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
- Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
