Join our cardiac catheterization laboratory as a Registered Nurse and contribute to cutting‑edge patient care in a collaborative environment.

Job Summary

Our Cardiac Cath Lab operates 24/7, offering advanced interventional and non‑interventional cardiology services. You will support high‑quality patient care and maintain critical lab competencies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment.
  • Provide quality patient care and maintain required cath lab competencies.
  • Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety.
  • Work within a team, conduct on‑call assignments, and return to the facility within 30 minutes for emergency cases.
  • Handle emergency situations during high‑risk procedures and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Interact with physicians during routine and emergency procedures, assist with interpretation and recording of data.
  • Administer medications per physicians’ orders while in the lab.
  • Manage pre‑procedure patient preparation and post‑procedure processes, including recovery, outpatient appointments, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse license with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a specialty unit (Critical Care, ED, PACU, or Radiology) preferred.
  • Proficiency in cardiology nursing procedures and skills, including cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and rhythm interpretation.
