Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Emergency Room RN Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide acute care services in a busy hospital setting. This travel position offers an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art ED with comprehensive resources and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients in the emergency department, ensuring timely and accurate clinical evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, IV placements, and wound care.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain a calm and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ recent acute care ED experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
• Proven proficiency with Meditech EMR system and emergency procedures.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Ability to work 7 PM – 7 AM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
