Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN specializing in Med/Surg for our night shift. The RN will join a dynamic team on the 7 North-Spine unit, providing critical care to post-operative burn and flap patients. The position involves comprehensive patient care activities, including wound and dressing care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and support for post-op burn and flap patients.
- Administer wound and dressing care as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain patient records and document care activities in the EMR system (Meditech).
- Manage patient ratios of 6:1 with LPN support.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 1-year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience.
- Current BLS certification (preferred).
- Experience in burn care and wound care; ostomy care experience is a plus.
- ACLS certification is preferred.
