Registered Nurse - ICU

Cardiac Icu Nurse

Provide specialized critical care to cardiac ICU patients, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes through advanced nursing practices. Support the unit's dynamic environment by delivering comprehensive care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess cardiac patients using advanced cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications, ventilation, and IV therapies following established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain current certifications and stay updated on ICU procedures and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years' acute care ICU experience, preferably in cardiac or medical ICU units.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with Meditech EMR and cardiac monitoring systems preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adapt to fast-paced environments.
