Travel Registered Nurse - Orthopedics

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedics to join our team. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including elective orthopedic patients and orthopedic trauma patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct IV starts and Foley/Straight catheterizations.
• Apply Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) devices and manage nerve block pumps.
• Ensure early mobilization of patients post-surgery.
• Collaborate effectively with a dedicated nursing team to enhance patient experiences and quality outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ortho RN in an acute care hospital.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and Meditech experience preferred.
• Competence in managing patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6.
