Registered Nurse (RN), Behavioral Health

Overview

Denver Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality, compassionate care in a behavioral health setting.

• Administer nursing care and direct care to ill or injured patients.
• Coordinate and deliver general and psychiatric nursing care for patients hospitalized with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or emotional disorders.
• Assume direct responsibility for observation, delegation, and leadership of unit staff and patients.
• Serve as a member of the multidisciplinary team, supporting the organization’s philosophy of care.
• Ensure patient safety and well‑being at all times.
• Follow medical orders and initiate and follow treatment planning, while acting as patient advocate.

• Current, unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility; experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or geriatric patients preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification and Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Schedule:

3×12/4×10/5×8 shifts with days (7 a.m.–7 p.m.), nights (7 p.m.–7 a.m.), rotating weekends, and on‑call duties. Pay range: $39.15–$52.85 per hour.
