Registered Nurse PACU

$1836.00/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized post-anesthesia care as a PACU nurse in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsible for delivering safe, efficient recovery care to surgical patients during their immediate post-operative period.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' vital signs and recovery status to ensure stability following surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR systems, including Meditech.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations in the recovery unit.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent PACU experience.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Have a patient-centered approach aligned with caring family values.
• Be flexible to work a schedule that includes one weekend call shift per month.
• Preferred candidates with CPAN or CAPA certification and critical care experience.
