Full-Time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA) – Urgent Care
Location:
Centennial, CO 8112
- Position:
Full-Time - Preference:
The location is open to an NP or PA, with a preference for an NP. Employees on Site: 20
COMPENSATION:
- $68–$70/hour
- Monthly performance-based bonuses
- Generous monthly performance bonus
SCHEDULE:
Rotating weekly schedule – works every other weekend
Week One
- Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Opposite Week
- Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The schedule then rotates back to the Week One schedule.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Provider must be comfortable working independently.
- Must be able to work independently with no other providers.
- One year of experience in an ER/Urgent Care setting is preferable.
- Active license in Colorado (ready to go).
- Must have experience in:
Suturing; X-ray interpretation; EKG interpretation - AANP certification – 1 year of ER/Urgent Care experience preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:
- The Nurse Practitioner (NP) cares for patients within the scope of training and approved agreement, as outlined by their governing board. The provider works collaboratively with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a high level of patient satisfaction
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for complaint, race, sex, and physical condition of the patient
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals of patients to the appropriate health care facilities, agencies, and other resources of the community or physician
- Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions
- Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management and treatment
- Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients/family/significant others
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- Professional appearance and attitude
- AANP – with 1 year ER/Urgent Care experience preferred
- Active and current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
- Able to multi-task and work independently with no other providers
- Experienced in:
Suturing; X-ray Interpretation; EKG Interpretation
