American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac ICU position requiring a CO or compact license and current ICU experience.

• Work in a 16-bed Cardiac ICU unit on the 3rd floor of the Main building
• Staffing includes a Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT per shift with a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
• Uses cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Charts using Meditech EMR
• Scheduled for 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts
• Unit performs intubations and central line placements

• Active CO state or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU hospital experience required
• Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Unit provides 24/7 physician coverage including intensivist, neuro-intensivist, and trauma surgeon support
• Looking for collaborative team players with a strong focus on patient care
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
