American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring a CO or compact license and current ICU experience with neuro-critical care equipment.

• Work in an 18-bed Neuro CCU/ICU unit
• Day shift schedule from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Typical RN to patient ratio of 1:2 (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Unit staffed with charge RN, RNs, and PCT support
• Uses cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, EVDs/LDs/bolts, continuous EEG, lumbar drains, Arctic Sun, and Licox equipment
• Performs intubations, central line placement, EVD/LD placement, and Licox catheter placement
• Uses Meditech EMR

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with neuro patient population preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Collaborative, team-oriented personality valued on this unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Local candidates will not be considered
