Job TitleTravel RN – Medical Surgical (Neuro Med/Surg)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 38-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit with an expected patient ratio of 4–5:1
- Perform NIH stroke assessments, neuro assessments, and fall risk assessments
- Manage and monitor patients requiring IV pumps, seizure monitoring, BiPAP, and CPAP equipment
- Provide trach care and feeding tube management as needed
- Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and demonstrate strong critical thinking and initiative in a fast-paced neuro patient environment
- Active RN license valid for practice in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of current Medical/Surgical RN experience
- BLS certification required
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and function effectively as a team collaborator
- ACLS certification
- Neuro nursing experience, including familiarity with AANN stroke clinical practice guidelines
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Enthusiastic, positive, energetic, and flexible with strong patient experience focus
- Work alongside an experienced, tenured staff on a specialized Neuro Med/Surg unit with a supportive charge nurse structure on every shift
