Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Duration: 06 months contract
Location: Englewood, CO 80112

Pay Rate: $20.00 – 21.00/hr on W2
This hybrid role involves component inspection and inventory control. The team member is responsible for accepting product through incoming shipments, inspecting, filing paperwork, and physically moving and shipping product when complete. Work may be in either area during the course of a day with direction from the Supervisor(s).
Duties and Responsibilities- Receive inspection of materials, work in progress, finished parts and assemblies and complete associate paperwork for final release of product to field.
- Accurately log and assign incoming inspection numbers to received materials.
- Create labels for materials as they move through the inspection process (receiving, quarantine, accepted, rejected).
- Physically move inventory into receiving area, quarantine area, warehouse, and out to suppliers.
- Use web-based software to create shipping documents.
- Physically prepare items for shipping (boxes, pallets, etc).
- Use web portals to schedule pick-ups and deliveries of materials between locations.
- Coordinate activities of outside suppliers in the accomplishment of sterilization related testing activities.
- Assist with requests related to inventory counts and fulfillment.
- Use MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to open files and perform data entry tasks.
- Use of web-based portals.
- General areas of competence:
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Experience with gages, micrometers, calipers, gage pins, dial indicators, etc.
- Basic understanding of print reading and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5.
- Computer literate with intermediate familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with 21
CFR part 820/ISO 13485 or other government/ISO standards. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external (sales) personnel.
- Results oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work unsupervised on assigned tasks.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in process improvement and problem solving.
- High school Diploma or GED required plus three to five years of experience as a Quality Inspector or as a manufacturing Operator or Assembler, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in an inspection department for a GMP or other regulated industry is a plus.
- Experience in material handling a plus.
