Are you a sales professional who enjoys building strong industry relationships and helping clients bring high-quality interior spaces to life? This role offers the opportunity to represent a respected millwork and carpentry company while developing new business opportunities with builders, architects, designers, contractors, and homeowners.
As a key member of the growth team, you will drive revenue generation, strengthen industry partnerships, identify project opportunities, and help position McKee Woodcraft as a preferred provider of custom millwork, finish carpentry, doors, hardware, and cabinetry solutions.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Growth New Business Generation- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within:
- Residential Construction
- Multi-Family Housing Projects
- Custom Home Building
- Develop strategies to expand market presence.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Generate revenue through proactive sales and networking activities.
- Research market trends and local development opportunities.
- Identify target accounts and strategic growth opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activity and market positioning.
Build and maintain relationships with:
- General Contractors
- Custom Home Builders
- Architects
- Interior Designers
- Developers
- Property Owners
- Homeowners
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
- Understand customer needs and project requirements.
- Communicate the value of McKee Woodcraft's craftsmanship and services.
- Foster long-term partnerships that generate repeat business.
- Represent McKee Woodcraft at:
- Trade Shows
- Industry Conferences
- Builder Events
- Professional Networking Functions
- Promote company capabilities and brand recognition.
- Develop strategic business relationships within the construction and design community.
- Position the company as a leading provider of millwork and carpentry solutions.
- Highlight quality, service, and craftsmanship advantages.
- Build awareness among key decision-makers and influencers.
- Collaborate closely with estimating teams.
- Gather client requirements and project expectations.
- Support development of customized proposals and pricing packages.
- Ensure proposals accurately reflect:
- Project Scope
- Client Specifications
- Service Capabilities
- Craftsmanship Standards
- Present solutions effectively to prospective clients.
Work closely with:
- Project Managers
- Production Teams
- Operations Leadership
- Ownership
- Ensure smooth transitions from sales to project execution.
- Monitor customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.

- Provide regular updates to:

- Track key sales metrics and performance indicators.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in:
- Business Development
- Account Management
- Client Relationship Management
- Construction, design, millwork, or carpentry industry experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with various stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and networking capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
