Security Officer Hospital Patrol Response in Englewood, CO – Unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location. Pay: $20.00 / Hour. Position Type:
Full Time.
Schedule:
10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Monday to Sunday.
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and notifying appropriate staff when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, help enforce location rules, and document security-related incidents, observations, and calls for service in accordance with site procedures.
- Support hospital staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general assistance while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns across the location.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
