Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas, helping to control access, direct foot traffic, and support site personnel with security-related concerns;
Assist with de-escalation of disruptive behavior, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate with supervisors and/or local responders when needed
