Security Officer
Supports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations. Compensation: $20.50/Per Hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k plan, disability income protection, life insurance, and more.
Responsibilities include maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property, and providing supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications, strong vision abilities, ability to stand, walk, move, lift objects, and valid driver's license. Desired qualifications include previous work experience with the public in a service setting. Taser qualifications include meeting qualification standards, obtaining and maintaining local or state licenses, passing additional Taser training, and demonstrating knowledge of Tarian's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER) and Taser Policy.
Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting objects, and specific vision abilities. Work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or quiet and slow-paced, requiring alertness and ability to perform under pressure.
