** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general support, and help to address unusual behavior and/or policy concerns.

+ Support staff during security-related calls for assistance, help to manage disruptive situations, and communicate with local responders and/or site leadership when needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Possession of a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
