Learn more:  As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and communicate professionally with visitors and personnel.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate offices or resources as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security‑related activities.

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
