Construction Technician – Laborer

Insituform Technologies LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, has been providing pipeline protection services for more than 50 years. The role involves installing cured‑in‑place pipe (CIPP) for municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehabilitation and repair projects. This position requires working with minimal oversight while closely following instructions.

The starting pay is $24.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience. A limited‑time sign‑on bonus of $4,000 is available for new hires with a valid CDL license (reduced bonus for those without a CDL).

• Repair various types of sewer lines using a specific product and process.
• Ensure the pull‑in tube is properly prepared for installation by inspecting D‑rings, chains, and attachment to the pulling cable.
• Install the prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate equipment.
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly.
• Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, lay‑flat, boiler hose, etc.
• Learn and train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment.
• Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor‑trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment.
• Perform set up and clean up tasks at job sites and shop.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience as a construction laborer and/or installation technician (highly preferred).
• OSHA certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report.
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL and meet Insituform’s motor vehicle standards (Haz Mat endorsement preferred but not required).
• Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces.
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery‑powered, or electric tools.
• Comfortable working outdoors at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state).
