Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Pioneer Materials West - Centennial seeks a Mechanic to maintain and repair delivery trucks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment for our busy building materials distribution operation. In this team-oriented role, you will handle inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems to keep our fleet safe and reliable. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, accurate recordkeeping, coordinating parts, and supporting warehouse and delivery teams.

This on-site position offers stable, full-time work in a safety-focused, growth-oriented wholesale distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair delivery trucks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records
• Coordinate parts ordering and maintain shop inventory
• Ensure all work meets safety, DOT, and company standards
• Support daily operations by responding quickly to equipment issues
• Collaborate with drivers and warehouse staff to plan repairs around routes and loads
