PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to find a skilled and dedicated A&P Mechanic in Englewood, CO. Pay Rate: $40.56/hour

Schedule:

Must be available to travel regularly and work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.

As an A&P Mechanic , you'll play a vital role in maintaining the airworthiness, safety, and reliability of aircraft. Your expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining aircraft systems will directly contribute to mission success, operational readiness, and the safety of flight crews and passengers.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacement of critical aircraft components
  • Conduct inspections, functional checks, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems
  • Diagnose mechanical and operational issues using specialized tools and equipment
  • Repair or replace defective aircraft parts and components
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and industry standards
  • Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, manuals, diagrams, and maintenance publications
  • Support airframe, powerplant, and A&P maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Assist in maintaining mission readiness through high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Typically 5+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Advanced degree may substitute for some experience requirements
Certifications
  • Active and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • No prior FAA violations

  • Ability to pass and maintain Class 3 physical requirements, including hearing testing
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

  • U.S. Department of Defense experience
  • Military aviation maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations
  • Flexibility to travel and support multiple work locations
  • Availability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts when required
Work Environment

This position involves hands-on work in aircraft maintenance facilities and field environments, including:

  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
  • Exposure to loud noise levels
  • Working around aircraft, machinery, fuels, and hazardous materials
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Safety-sensitive responsibilities involving aircraft inspection, maintenance, and operational readiness
