Overview
The Maintenance Technician IV is an expert-level technician responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, implementing advanced maintenance strategies, and ensuring the highest level of reliability and efficiency in facility systems.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring optimal performance of facilities and systems.
- Develop and implement advanced maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns and enhance efficiency.
- Conduct expert‑level troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Lead training programs for maintenance staff to ensure high competency levels.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to service agreements.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Mastery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience with safe use of tools and equipment.
- Master‑level certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., HVAC, electrical).
- Extensive experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Mastery of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Experience working with hand and power tools.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Ability to work on‑site.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift.
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in potentially hazardous or loud environments.
- Ability to travel as required.
