Maintenance Technician

Performs general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance for residential properties and grounds. Works independently and as part of a team to maintain safe, clean, and functional living environments while providing excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, doors, windows, and locks.
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Inspect buildings, apartments, common areas, and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Prepare vacant units for new occupancy.
• Assist with HVAC system maintenance and repairs.
• Repair and maintain household appliances and building equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, storage areas, and work spaces.
• Perform grounds maintenance, trash removal, snow removal, and ice mitigation.
• Operate company vehicles to transport supplies and materials.
• Participate in emergency on-call maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential, apartment, or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
• Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical labor.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
