AWS Software Engineer

* Ideally local to Colorado but relocation candidates can work as well. Need to relocate in 2-3 weeks time.

* Must work on site 4 days/week starting from day 1

Must Haves:
o 7-10 years in cloud-native environments, preferably AWS
o Typescript experience required
o Proven experience with AWS microservices and container orchestration

• Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

Core Technical Skills

• AWS Expertise:
Deep hands-on experience with:
o EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) - critical; implies knowledge of:
? Docker containers
? Kubernetes
? Microservices architecture
o Lambda
o CDK (Cloud Development Kit)

• Type Script:
Must-have

• Open Telemetry:
Understanding of:
o Exception tracking
o Latency measurement (spans)
o Integration with observability tools

• Splunk or something similar:
Required for integration; however, experience with similar tools is acceptable if the candidate understands Open Telemetry.

Nice-to-Haves

• Python:
Good to have, but not required.

• Terraform:
Used for AWS deployments; familiarity is a plus.

• Datadog:
Monitoring tool; not required but beneficial.
