Job Description Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a team responsible for designing and developing backend applications that can be hosted on cloud platforms.
  • Design and develop web applications that can function during backend service and internet connectivity interruptions.
  • Develop software and web applications using Java, Python, Angular, and React.
  • Work with RDBMS and No

    SQL databases.
  • Use Git for version control.
  • Develop RESTful APIs; deploy software within AWS.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using Concourse, Jenkins, and Git Hub Actions.
  • Perform Agile project management using Scrum and Kanban methodology.
  • Test software using behavior-driven development and test-driven development methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering team, product, and user experience to understand new requirements; refine and estimate deliverables.
  • Implement new application programming interfaces, backend services, front-end user interface components, and automation tasks to specification with guidance from senior team members.
  • Understand platform usage and assist with production deployments and customer issue triage.
  • Develop security features; use and improve tools to identify and mitigate production incidents within the defined MTTR (Mean Time To Recover).
  • Create reusable web components that can be leveraged by multiple teams.
  • Create self-contained microservices or APIs to support business logic.
  • Use content management systems as applicable and apply global design patterns and defined coding standards and practices established by the team.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; collaborate with architects and Dev Ops Engineers to define functional and technical requirements.
  • Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Two (2) years of experience developing software and web applications using Java or Python, and Angular or React.
  • Experience with any RDBMS or No

    SQL databases; using Git for version control.
  • Developing RESTful APIs; deploying software within AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Building CI/CD pipelines using Concourse, Jenkins, or Git Hub Actions.
  • One (1) year of experience performing Agile project management using Scrum or Kanban methodology.
  • Experience testing software using behavior-driven development and test-driven development methodologies.
Salary

$98,738.00 to $ per year.
