Cloud Engineer - Software, DevOps, Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts (primarily Python)
- Contribute to backend and full-stack development efforts
- Participate in code reviews and merge request reviews
- Support testing strategy and release quality assurance
- Troubleshoot application and backend system issues
- Collaborate with engineers to improve system reliability and performance
- Help strengthen engineering practices and automation maturity
- Work across both development and testing tasks as needed
- 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, SDET, or quality engineering
- Strong programming fundamentals with ability to contribute production-quality code
- Experience with automation frameworks (Python strongly preferred)
- Experience with Java and/or Spring Boot
- Exposure to Angular or similar Type Script/JavaScript frameworks
- Experience participating in code reviews and CI/CD workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in both development and testing responsibilities
- Java/Spring Boot

- API and backend services
- Cloud environments (AWS exposure preferred)
- CI/CD pipelines and modern Dev Ops workflows
- A mid-level engineer with strong technical fundamentals and growth potential
- Someone who enjoys both building software and improving quality through automation
- Comfortable operating between development and QA disciplines
- Collaborative, coachable, and eager to expand technical depth
- Not strictly a QA or purely backend developer - a hybrid engineer
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Exposure to infrastructure or Dev Ops tooling (Terraform, Kubernetes)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation pipelines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
