Location
This position does not support teleworking. You will be located near the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Cape Canaveral, FL, and expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule full‑time.
Key Activities- Support the EGSE Organization as a software engineer.
- Support modernization efforts geared toward greater efficiency, security, automation, and scalability.
- Collaborate with software, systems, electrical, and test engineers using Agile Development methodology.
- Coordinate with product line manager and directorates to support needs.
- Programming experience in one or more of: C/C++, Lab View, Python, Java, Test Stand.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience/education).
- Experience working on project teams and development efforts.
- Experience developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design.
- Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).
- Issue tracking and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in simulation software development, software testing and validation, and configuration management.
- Experience with telemetry data processing (TDP).
- Experience with RF.
- Experience with multiple OS platforms such as Linux and Windows.
- Systems thinking mindset.
- Experience with Agile and Dev Ops processes and culture.
- Experience with Jira or other Atlassian tool sets.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive items to closure.
- Strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills.
Top Secret (DOE). Must be a U.S. citizen.
Compensation and BenefitsAnnual base salary range: $113,900 – $200,905 (state dependent).
