project scope:

over the last year, the team was focused on bringing legacy services up to standard for test automation.

wrote a lot of code in testng and wrote that into homegrown spectrum test hub. Integrated tests so they could be run in cicd pipeline but never actually got around to integrating them into the pipeline. That’s the focus now.

this person is going to be leading the direction that the team goes in terms of functional test automation.

they are in the process of converting most of the functional test automation engineers into developers. Want them dev team to be capable of doing everything on their own and get them closer to push button deployments.

this engineer will not develop code but will continue to support & maintain test system. Integration of automated functional tests.

this person won’t be leading people, but leading test efforts. The team has a test automation lead already. This person will take their direction from the test automation lead.

must have skills/certs/technologies:

jenkins – must have (but gitlab or gitflow preferred)

testng – must have

java – nice to have

strong automation testing experience

do not need previous lead experience

required skills: testng, gitlab (gitflow) or jenkins for cicd no coding required, but java would be a nice to have managing automation and driving initiatives, they're integrating gitlab for cicd

basic qualification: additional skills: this will be long-term based on work performance. Conversion after 18 months is also possible. Background check: yes

notes: must be local to co and able to go on-site 3x per week from day 1 open to relo candidates, but must have solid timelines for relocation and be committed to relocate within 3 weeks of an offer
