Our swimming instructors provide an excellent swimming experience with a focus on water safety and swim techniques in the Englewood Accelerated Swimming program. Enthusiastic, passionate and self‑motivated individuals highly desired. Year‑round and seasonal employment available.

All final candidates must consent to a criminal background check and successfully pass a drug screening.

• Safeguards all activities of guests using the swimming pool
• Instruct swimming skills in group and private settings to participants of all ages and abilities
• Evaluate program participants according to Englewood Accelerated swimming standards
• Adapt teaching approaches to the experience, ability and culture of participants to meet program goals and objectives
• Complete and submit program and participant progress reports as required
• Communicate with parents and/or participants regarding participant's progress and how they may be able to assist in the participant's progress
• Attend and participate in Swim Instructor training on a monthly basis
• Keep a CPR/AED certification current

• A Current CPR/AED Certification, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire, is required.
• WSI (Past or present) or other Nationally Recognized certification preferred.
• You must enjoy working with children and adults of all ages.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance will be considered. Training will be provided to applicants possessing a basic understanding of swimming skills through swim lessons or swim team experiences.

This position is subject to a mandatory drug screening (5 Panel – Includes THC) and a background screening.

$17.47 – $26.21 / Hourly Rate

Anticipated Starting Rate: $17.77 / Hourly Rate
