Griley Dispatchers

National Leader in LTL/FTL Trucking is seeking a talented Dispatcher to join their headquarters in the Westchester/LAX area! This role would be ideal for someone with an established work history in freight dispatching, knowledge of domestic freight routes, and excellent ops coordination skills.

Full Time +OT:
Monday - Saturday - 2:30PM - 12AM

Or

Full Time + OT:
Monday - Saturday - 7AM - 3:00PM

• Coordinate and manage the schedules of truck drivers to ensure cargo shipments are picked up and delivered in a timely manner
• Maintain contact with the fleet of truck drivers to arrange pickups and deliveries on behalf of clients
• Prioritize pickups and deliveries based on delivery times
• Enter orders and schedule in collaboration with operations agents
• Verify delivered shipments and examine shipping documents for accuracy and possible discrepancies
• Review agents’ rate, approve and notify of accessorial charges
• Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
• Cultivate strong relationships with agents and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
• Respond to queries related to pickups and deliveries, via phone and email
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• MS Office Proficiency (Word, Excel)
• Strong LTL/FTL Dispatching Experience
• Freight Forwarding Experience
• Bilingual - English and Spanish is a PLUS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
