POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Warehouse & Receiving Lead is responsible for the coordination and execution of warehouse, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities. This role ensures the accurate receipt, storage, transaction, and distribution of materials while maintaining inventory integrity and an organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse & Receiving Lead serves as the department’s SAP Key User and first point of contact for warehouse technology, systems, and process-related issues.

Working closely with internal departments and the Shipping Lead, this position supports operational objectives through safe, accurate, and efficient material management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, monitor, and report Warehouse & Receiving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure departmental objectives, inventory accuracy, and operational requirements are achieved.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Load and unload equipment off trucks.
  • Inspect, accept, and reject inbound shipments.
  • Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for product returns/repairs.
  • With Shipping Lead, coordinate project pack out activities for both domestic and international shipments with project teams.
  • Coordinate Cycle Counts per schedule and process.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the Warehouse and Receiving team.
  • Carry out Key User activities and troubleshooting for SAP and Mobisys improvements and issues
  • Ensure warehouse is kept clean and organized
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and timely in SAP.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and inventory accuracy issues.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, material identification, and storage location accuracy.
  • Support physical inventory activities and inventory reconciliation efforts.
  • Coordinate material staging and replenishment activities to support production, project, and service requirements.
  • Develop and maintain training documentation and cross-training plans for warehouse and receiving personnel.
  • Inventory inquiry support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Employment Qualifications:
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • Subject to occasional offsite visits.
Professional & Technical

Education:
  • High school Diploma, or equivalent GED.
Other Job-Related Experience or Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, including inventory transactions, receiving processes, and inventory management functions.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack.
  • Certified to operate a forklift truck.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build productive working relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Working knowledge in MS Word, Excel, or similar computer software systems.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance customer service, responsiveness, and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
