Blacksmith Automotive Management is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Analyst at Blacksmith Automotive Management
, you will support all aspects of accounts payable processing for all three dealerships, and become a valued contact for our vendors, management team, and employees. This position works in the office at our primary location in Englewood, NJ.

• Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices and payments for multiple locations.
• Perform day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure finances are up-to-date and accurate.
• Disburse on demand checks as requested, as well as make monthly vendor payments via company laser checks and ACH debit payments.
• Review, reconcile and pay credit card statements.
• Research and respond to vendor and internal inquiries.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Perform statement reconciliations.
• Assist in month end and year end closings.
• Daily interaction and communication with the accounting department and other respective department members.

• Ability to balance accuracy and efficiency with a sense for urgency.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Technically knowledgeable and analytical.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate on a team.

• 1 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Associates Degree or higher is strongly recommended.
• Experience with spreadsheets and account reconciliation.
• Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of CDK Global Software is beneficial.
