Metro Light & Power is seeking a creative / graphic designer to support our marketing, brand, and website initiatives. This role combines graphic design with hands‑on website building and maintenance.
This is a full‑time, in‑house position (hybrid). We are not seeking freelancers or project‑only candidates.
You will work directly with our Creative Director on projects supporting our architectural lighting and furniture‑integrated power & data product lines used in hotels, offices, and residential environments worldwide.
This role offers the opportunity to work on real products and real marketing platforms, not speculative design work.
What You’ll Do Website & Digital- Design, build, and maintain pages using Wix Studio / Editor X
- Work with Wix CMS / Collections and Dynamic Pages
- Create scalable page structures using components, datasets, repeaters, and filters
- Manage structured content via Google Sheets integrations
- Support SEO and site performance improvements
- Assist with ongoing website updates and content expansion
- Create marketing and digital assets
- Support product launches and website updates
- Develop layouts for presentations and brand collateral
- Maintain brand consistency across digital platforms
- Degree or equivalent training in Graphic Design or Visual Communication
- Strong portfolio demonstrating layout, typography, and brand consistency
- Experience building and maintaining websites using a CMS-based platform
- Wix Studio / Editor X (preferred), or
- Webflow
- Squarespace
- Shopify or similar CMS builders
Experience with CMS‑driven content, responsive layouts, and structured page systems is more important than the specific platform. The role will primarily work in Wix.
Additional Experience With- Responsive web design
- Basic SEO and performance principles
- Managing structured content via spreadsheets or CMS tools
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe XD (or similar wire framing/prototyping tools)
- Google Sheets
- Adobe Illustrator
- Familiarity with Wix Velo
- Strong attention to detail and layout precision
- Interest in working with product-driven and manufacturing brands
- Comfort working within structured systems and brand guidelines
- Ability to collaborate in person periodically with our NJ-based team
- Interest in long‑term growth within an in‑house creative team
Salary range: $55,000 – $75,000 annually, based on experience and portfolio
LocationCandidates should be located within commuting distance of Englewood, New Jersey for in‑person collaboration. Occasional hybrid work possible.
