The Elisabeth Morrow School (EMS), a leader in education from early childhood through middle school, seeks energetic and knowledgeable substitute teachers for its Division of Early Learning.

Responsibilities

  • Work with faculty to support students throughout the instructional day
  • Provide a caring and safe classroom experience for students.
  • Model mindful language, compassion and leadership.
  • Perform additional teaching duties as assigned.
  • Follow any plans or units of instruction as indicated by classroom faculty Essential Qualifications.
  • At least two years of paid classroom experience working with children (ages 2–5 preferred.)
  • Able to work a minimum of standard business hours Monday–Friday.
  • Must demonstrate a deep respect for childhood and excitement for being a leader in teaching and learning.
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education a plus.
