• New Jersey certification as a School Administrator.
• Graduate training in curriculum and instruction.
• Evidence of successful administrative and teaching experience.
• Knowledge of educational philosophy, learning theory, child development, & instructional practices.
• Demonstrated leadership in staff supervision and evaluation, curriculum development, instructional improvement, program assessment, and educational reform.
• Ability to plan, organize, and administer a district-level professional development program.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in use of educationally appropriate technology.
• Required criminal history background check & proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Meets such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
