Real Estate Controller

A real estate company is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple real estate entities. This role is responsible for managing banking, cash flow, multi-entity bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, compliance, and detailed financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will bring strong real estate accounting experience and the ability to provide accurate, portfolio-level financial insights to leadership.

• Overseeing accounting operations across multiple real estate entities
• Managing banking relationships, cash flow, and account reconciliations
• Handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Managing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
• Supporting leadership with accurate portfolio-level financial reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity management
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in Quick Books and advanced Excel skills
• Experience in real estate accounting required
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• Full-time, on-site role in Englewood, NJ
• High-responsibility position with direct exposure to leadership
