Job Summary

The Diabetes Program Manager is responsible for management of the Diabetes Program while meeting the national standards for diabetes self-management education. This includes the planning, implementation and evaluation of diabetes self-management education programs while meeting the needs of the hospital and community. Support the Vice President in accomplishing Division and Hospital goals.

Job Essentials

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • 3 or more years working in a Diabetes Education Program.
  • Experience with the American Diabetes Association national recognition program.
  • Strong communication skills; strong presentation skills and the ability to connect with a diverse audience.
  • Proven leadership experience.
Education Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree;
Master's Degree preferred.

License/Certification/Registry
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitian.
  • Certified Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.

Minimum salary: $79,000
