IT Coordinator

Homes of America, LLC ("HOA"), which was formed in 2020, is a nationwide owner and operator of manufactured housing communities. The firm is focused on opportunistically acquiring, improving, and operating manufactured housing communities in primary, secondary, and tertiary markets across the United States. Our leadership team has decades of experience acquiring, improving, and operating businesses and assets across a myriad of industries and asset classes.

Homes of America is well on its way to becoming the country's premier owner and operator of manufactured housing communities with one of the industry's largest and most diverse portfolios. To date, HOA has invested in and currently manages approximately 15,500 home sites across 155 communities and 19 states.

The IT Coordinator is responsible for supporting the company's technology systems and coordinating IT-related activities across departments. This role assists with troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining hardware and software, coordinating vendors, and ensuring employees have the tools they need to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level technical support and daily support tickets as liaison with MSP for
  • Hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions (e.g., MS365)
  • Coordinate IT projects, system upgrades, and technology rollout
  • Track and maintain IT inventory, including equipment and software licenses
  • Work with external vendors and service providers for IT services and repairs
  • Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations
  • Monitor system performance and report issues to IT leadership
  • Support onboarding and offboarding by setting up or disabling employee technology access
  • Assist with cybersecurity practices, updates, and system backups
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging marketing tools to propose innovative ideas.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Working knowledge of Rent Manager is a MUST
  • 3+ years of IT support or coordination experience a must
  • Knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems and common business software
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
  • Experience with help desk or ticketing systems
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Property Management support experience; manufactured housing a plus
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks effectively
