Service Now QA & Reporting Analyst – QA Location

Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Onsite)/Need only locals

Develops and executes test strategies, validates CMDB and ITOM solutions, monitors data quality, and prepares reports and dashboards to provide insights into project and operational performance.

• Test planning and execution
• Functional, integration, and UAT testing
• Knowledge in Service Now testing tools and methodologies (both manual and automated) and processes, including developing repeatable test procedures, executing tests, recording results, and working with software engineers to identify and resolve defects
• CMDB data validation and quality checks
• Reporting and dashboard development
• Power BI, Excel, or Service Now reporting
• Defect tracking and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical and documentation skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field; master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise IT or software solutions, including at least 5 years of hands-on Service Now testing and automation frameworks and build test cases
• In-depth functional testing knowledge to ensure product functions meet client requirements
• Hands on experience in writing/executing test-plan and test cases based on product specification
• Knowledge about Bug Life cycle and identifying /documenting defect
• Should have experience in Functional/Non-Functional testing type.
  
  E.g. SMOKE/Inflight/Regression/Unit/Performance/Load/Integration Testing etc.
• Should be able to develop and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks such as Selenium, Test Ng, Maven
• Collaborate with Developers/Infra/DBA/other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality
• Should be able to adapt advance testing best practices and methodologies, including Agile and Dev Ops principles
• Experience in report generation and data analysis.
• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their data services is a plus
