Private Duty RN STAT Opportunities throughout Bergen, Hudson, & Passaic County, NJ

Paid One-to-One Training Provided. As a STAT RN with BAYADA, you ll be part of our highest skilled nursing team, helping clients as they transition home from the hospital and filling last-minute openings. You ll be the first friendly face that puts new admission clients at ease right from the start. With your experience caring for people of all ages and acuity levels, you re ideally suited to provide the initial 4-6 weeks of skilled nursing care.

You ll work closely with Clinical Managers to ensure each client s needs are met according to their care plan, delivering personalized one-on-one nursing attention at home.

STAT RN responsibilities include providing one-on-one home care, coordinating with Clinical Managers, and delivering skilled nursing care to new admissions across the defined counties. You ll travel to clients  homes, stay with a client for a traditional 12-hour shift, and execute and document doctors  orders. Responsibilities also include assessments, monitoring client conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations to ensure top-quality care.

Typical schedule options include traditional 12-hour shifts with a focus on hands-on care for one client at a time.

• Valid New Jersey Nursing license in good standing.
• CPR Certified.
• Willingness to work across Passaic, Bergen, & Hudson County.
• Willingness to work with all ages;
  Infant through Geriatric.
• Willingness to work in all private duty settings;
  In-Home & In-School.
• One year of RN experience.
• Hands-on tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
• Pediatric or infant care experience.
• Commitment to a minimum of two twelve-hour shifts per week.
• Commitment to work one weekend per month.

STAT nurses get paired with a new admission client and stay with that client on a consistent schedule for about one to one-and-a-half months. After completing this initial care period, you ll be matched with your next client. We offer traditional 12-hour shift options, focusing on hands-on care with one client. Clients  ages range from infants to the elderly, with acuity requirements varying from basic care to complex needs such as trach and vent care.

You’ll travel to your client s home, stay there for the full shift, and follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors  orders. Your responsibilities include performing assessments, monitoring clients  conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations—all vital to providing top-quality care.
