We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery.
Responsibilities- Monitor patients' post-operative recovery and manage their pain levels.
- Assess patients' condition and response to treatment, reporting any changes to the medical team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding post-operative care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Minimum of 4 years of PACU experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Current RN license in New Jersey.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
