Specialty Professional Services is seeking experienced NICU Registered Nurses for per diem opportunities at a respected healthcare facility in Englewood, New Jersey.
This role is ideal for NICU nurses looking for scheduling flexibility while providing high-quality care to critically ill and premature newborns. The RN will collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced neonatal intensive care environment.

RequirementsResponsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care to neonatal intensive care patients
- Monitoring and assessing newborns requiring specialized medical attention
- Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Operating and monitoring NICU equipment and life-support systems
- Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and care teams
- Educating and supporting parents and family members
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Active New Jersey RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
- Current BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current NRP Certification
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
