Specialty Professional Services is seeking experienced NICU Registered Nurses for per diem opportunities at a respected healthcare facility in Englewood, New Jersey.

This role is ideal for NICU nurses looking for scheduling flexibility while providing high-quality care to critically ill and premature newborns. The RN will collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced neonatal intensive care environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care to neonatal intensive care patients
• Monitoring and assessing newborns requiring specialized medical attention
• Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Operating and monitoring NICU equipment and life-support systems
• Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and care teams
• Educating and supporting parents and family members
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation

• Active New Jersey RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
• Current BLS Certification (AHA)
• Current NRP Certification
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
