Our client is looking for a Director of Nursing. This position is onsite located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Salary: $150,000 - $175,000.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing and clinical operations within the facility.
- Direct daily patient care services, staffing plans, scheduling, and clinical workflow to support operational efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure high standards of care.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, competency assessments, and performance management of clinical staff.
- Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and operational effectiveness.
- Manage departmental resources, budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships to support efficient operations.
- Ensure readiness of clinical equipment, supplies, and support services necessary for patient care delivery.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional patient experiences and continuous improvement.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey required.
- Completion of an accredited nursing degree program required.
- Several years of progressive leadership experience within a healthcare or surgical services environment.
- Hands‑on experience in an outpatient surgery center setting is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge of surgical patient care, including preoperative, intraoperative, and recovery services.
- Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and develop nursing and clinical support staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; a combination of advanced clinical and leadership experience may be considered.
- Current life support certifications applicable to the patient population served.
- Additional specialty certifications related to perioperative or recovery nursing are viewed favorably.
- Commitment to professional growth and engagement within the nursing profession.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, decision‑making, and leadership capabilities.
