We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN Supervisor to oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides and medication technicians in the busy Wellness/Resident Services Center. Acting as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, you will provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs) and in the administration of their medications — all while leading the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness.
AdditionalResponsibilities
- Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
- Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
- Active LPN certification and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life of our residents
- Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
- Caring, reliable and observant with an understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders
- Essential to excel in prioritizing, multi-tasking and working independently
- Enthusiastic: shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest
- Dedicated: devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity
- Innovative: consistently introduces new ideas and demonstrates original thinking
- Team Player: works well as a member of a group
- Detail Oriented: capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
- Required: Technical/other training or better in Nursing.
- Preferred: Associates or better. High School or better.
- Licensed Professional Nurse
- CPR
