Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + commission

Report to:
Vice President of Business Development

Start:
Immediately (negotiable)

Hours:

Monday - Friday / 9:00 A.M.

- 6:00 P.M. (Hybrid Work)

Summary

This position is responsible for establishing business with new customers, while recognizing and prioritizing high impact customers with most potential. Meanwhile, the business relationships with existing customers should be strengthened to achieve the sales goals discussed and agreed upon between the employee and Management.

Responsibilities Sales Marketing
  • Develop leads for new business opportunities and find customer contacts by researching available networks as well as cold calling.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact them and other accounts as assigned to introduce the Company service.
  • Conduct thorough market research prior to proposing service to customers to make a competitive proposal.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials to be presented to the customers.
  • Conduct sales presentations and introduce service to both existing and potential customers.
  • Follow up on new business opportunities and referrals resulting from sales activities especially after quotation submission; schedule meetings with potential customers.
  • Quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales contracts and monitor service status for orders obtained.
  • Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer relationships; keep the Sales Supervisor informed.
  • Obtain and submit new and updated customer information to appropriate department.
  • Develop greater knowledge and familiarity with the Company service.
  • Ensure to collect all A/R, and follow up with the customers when the payment is late and as needed.
  • Attend trade shows and marketing events to promote the company service and develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to anticipate competition, market trends and report the findings to the Sales Supervisor.
Customer Service
  • Responsible for answering current and prospective customers’ questions and inquiries about the service.
  • Report and investigate complaints from customers, take countermeasures against the complaints and report improvement to the Sales Supervisor/customers periodically.
  • Stay involved and work closely with customers for smooth transactions, especially when handling start-up of new operations.
  • Receive and process orders, provide information regarding current pricing, changes in service.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns; resolve customer complaints via phone and/or email.
  • Handle troubleshooting and work internally and with customers on specific issues.
Other & Miscellaneous
  • Seek constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
  • Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.
  • Maintain high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Report all irregular issues and problems to Management for solution.
  • Maintain good communication with Management, office staff members and outside contacts.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications/Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Customer service / Meeting sales goals / Negotiation / Presentation skills / Client relationships.
  • Familiarity with office software and phone systems.
  • The ideal candidate has 4-6 years in the Logistics industries with a proven record of budget attainment and portfolio of accounts to accompany the candidate upon hire.
